8. TO RECEIVE REPORTS FROM OUTSIDE BODIES.

C. Cllr. Hill was pleased to report that LCC’s Fair Funding campaign had yielded positive results with the Government changing its formula. Result of this will be an improved budget allocation for Lincolnshire from Central Government.

C. & D. Cllr. Woolley informed the PC that planning changes by Central Government are resulting in significant development applications; some of which are likely to affect us locally.

      OTHER MATTERS:

Overhanging bush on High St. has still not been addressed. Clerk to expedite.

A question was raised regarding access / condition of the stile at the north of the High Street,
(leading to the 71 dwellings building plot off Folkingham Rd). This stile (and respective access to
the field) is no longer in use. The public right of way is diverted and now follows the hedge line to
the left of the stile. This has been formally changed to ensure site safety as the development
progresses… Additionally, a number of stiles are being refurbished within the area.

The condition of the Millenium Sun Dial (north High St.) was raised particularly the month
markers set into the verge which have subsided. Nothing can be done at present given current
weather conditions but will be reviewed / addressed in the spring.

Playing field hedges require remedial action (predominantly east and west boundaries).
Additionally, the ‘clump’ trees at the eastern end require removal as these are being used as dens
for inappropriate activities / dangerous littering. The Council fully supported this proposed action.
Cllr.  Hyde to arrange / liaise to progress.

There being no further business the meeting ended at: 7.40 pm.
