New planning laws come into force shortly; less committee decisions – responsibilities cascaded to planning officers for smaller developments etc.

OTHER MATTERS:

Concern raised regarding the number of HGVs travelling from the Depot through the village.

Given the poor state generally of silver birch trees throughout the village due to the hot/dry
summer one in Station Rd. appears to be thriving. This tree is in the close vicinity to the rundle.
Clerk to request Anglian Water to carry out an integrity check on the rundle to ensure no root
damage has occurred to the drain.

It was proposed that now the nights are drawing in to commence the Public Forum/Council
Meeting at 7.00 pm rather than the current 7.15 pm. This was agreed and will commence
from the next meeting.

There being no further business, the meeting closed at: 8.05 pm.
